What we are, and what we’re not.
GeoPoliticus Advisors is an operational consulting firm. We help professional services organizations modernize how they work. We are not a law firm, an investment advisor, an accounting firm, or any other regulated professional services provider — and nothing on this site should be read as advice from one.

The scorecard is informational
The scorecard is built from operational patterns we’ve seen across organizations. Its output reflects those patterns — not the specific facts of your business, your industry’s regulatory context, or the strategic options actually available to you. Use it as a starting point for a conversation. Do not use it as a substitute for proper diagnostic work, professional advice, or careful judgment about your situation.
Nothing here is legal advice
One of our principals, Amy Lynn (Aly) Kedron, holds a Juris Doctor (JD). She earned it as part of a multi-disciplinary education that informs the way she thinks about institutional structure, governance, and risk. She is not actively engaged in the practice of law through GeoPoliticus Advisors.
Specifically:
- Aly does not represent clients in legal matters in her capacity as a GeoPoliticus principal.
- Nothing she says or writes on behalf of GeoPoliticus — on this site, in correspondence, during a scoping conversation, or in a delivered engagement — constitutes legal advice.
- Communications with her in her GeoPoliticus capacity are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
- References to her JD on this site are biographical credential disclosures only.
If your question requires legal advice — whether about a contract, a regulatory obligation, an employment matter, an intellectual property issue, or anything else — consult an attorney licensed to practice in your jurisdiction.
Nothing here is financial, tax, or accounting advice
References to operational improvements, ROI, cost reduction, time savings, or any other financial metric in our content reflect general patterns and case-study experience. They are not financial projections for your specific organization, not investment advice, not tax advice, and not accounting guidance.
For decisions involving capital allocation, tax treatment, or financial reporting, consult a licensed financial advisor, certified public accountant, or other appropriate professional.
Nothing here creates a professional relationship
Visiting this site, taking the scorecard, submitting a contact form, or having an exploratory conversation with us does not create a consulting engagement, an attorney-client relationship, a fiduciary relationship, or any other contractual or professional duty. An engagement with GeoPoliticus exists only when we’ve signed a written agreement together that specifies scope, deliverables, fees, and term. Until then, our discussions are informal and either of us can decide not to proceed for any reason.
Results vary
Case studies, testimonials, and outcome metrics described on this site reflect actual engagements we have run, sometimes with details anonymized or composited to protect client confidentiality. They illustrate the kind of work we do. They are not promises of comparable results for your engagement, which will depend on factors specific to your organization, your industry, your team, your timing, and your willingness to do the operational work that change requires.
Forward-looking statements
Some content on this site — in articles, the framework, or the scorecard — describes our perspective on where professional services is headed. These are opinions formed from our experience, not predictions. The world will surprise us; it always does.
